My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean, very nice, and quiet, although nothing extraordinary. However, there were some minor issues with the availability of toiletries. The location was good with easy access to a beautiful beach, despite being loud at times. The dining experience was satisfactory with a standard selection of breakfast items.
I was on the ground floor, so the 'balcony with a view' was more like a terrace overlooking the parking lot. The rooms were very clean, but being on the dog path meant constant foot traffic from dogs and their owners. Outside our room, smokers tended to gather while walking their dogs.
My stay at the hotel was just what I needed for an anniversary trip. The rooms were pleasant and big enough for the three of us but were a little before three. The service was kind and pleasant, with a minor hiccup of being told we weren't on the list due to late check-outs. The location was awesome, exactly as I imagined, and the staff was the best I've ever encountered in a hotel. The dining experience had its ups and downs but was balanced overall. The facilities were satisfactory, contributing to making the Hampton a great place to stay.
